WebbIf you just have two drives, then simple mirroring is the best parity possible. Then it's always an option with even numbers of drives, but you lose half the capacity. For a simple file server that isn't going to be changing massively day to day, then go with SnapRaid. WebbParity makes sense when you have many drives and can use SSD tiering or something else for caching. I would not use parity unless I had a dozen or more drives.
