Witryna17 paź 2012 · This is correct - Windows version of Audacity using PortAudio, and the current version tmk does not record in true 24-bit. It's actually 16-bit padded to 24-bit. There's a way to confirm this post-recording, but it's a few steps - I can write details if needed. The OSX and Linux version of Audacity does not have this issue.
