WebSince you used a brook as a water source there's pressure that will push the water up your well and into your fort. Next winter / whenever the water's low enough you probably want to put some control mechanism in. Would recommend a floodgate and then attach a lever to it so you can open/shut it at will in case the well starts running dry.
